The most scenic and mountainous area of England, here you find historic villages, rambling farmhouses and beautiful lakes.
We start the holiday in the northern part of the Lake District near the Scottish border and then finish in the town of Ambleside on Lake Windermere.

Day One
From Manchester connect with coach transfer to Keswick, Lake District (approx 2 hours). On arrival at Bed & Breakfast accommodation unpack and have a short afternoon walk to a neolithic stone circle in the vicinity with good views of the surrounding mountains.In the evening, free to explore the historic town of Keswick where there are many cafes, restaurants and pubs serving food.
Days Two to Four
Walks in the area of Keswick including such mountains as Blencathra, Skiddaw and Great Gable and also Borrowdale.
Day Five
Transfer to Ambleside on the shores of Lake Windermere. This is a free day to explore the area, visit other places or look around the museums and shops
Days Six to Nine
Walks in the Ambleside area include mountains such as Sca Fell Pike, the Langdales, Bow Fell and Crinkle Crags.
Day Ten
Early morning transfer to Manchester to connect with return flights unless arrangements have been made for an extension or a stopover on the way home.
