Aestheticians, also known as estheticians, are professionals who specialise in skin care. By no way are they dermatologists or some other kind of doctor. The term aesthetic comes from a Greek word that means “to experience, to sound.” Aesthetician is pronounced “es-thi-tish-uhn” (from the Online Etymology Dictionary).
